Hello everyone!
Hope everyone’s having a lovely July so far – I’m just keen for winter to be over haha. Today I wanted to talk about pimple patches – yep, I’m sure you’ve all heard of them and what they do but I wanted to introduce them a bit more for those who may not know much about them and why they’re so popular.
So pimple patches are quite prominent in the K-beauty community and in Asian beauty – that’s where I discovered them. But nowadays, I’ve seen Aussie beauty bring out their own take on the typical pimple patch. An up and coming brand, Subi Beauty, a brand that attempts to merge Australian and Korean beauty in their approach to their products has brought out their very own pimple patch*.
Most pimple patches are made from hydrocolloid bandaids, and in simple terms it’s like a sticker. You leave this sticker on overnight (over a pimple of course) and let the sticker do it’s magic. Usually you’ll wake up to a sticker that’s kind of white in colour – the sticker essentially ‘draws out’ the bacteria and impurities of your pimple as you sleep and as a result you’re left with either a smaller pimple, initial process of healing or unpicked skin – having the sticker on a pimple stops you from picking at it.
Subi Beauty has created a 54 pack of pimple patches retailing at $29.95 + free shipping. Their patches are:
- Drug free
- Cruelty free
- Safe and easy to use
- Perfect for day time use
- Help speed up healing

Cellulose gum, styrene isoprene, styrene block copolymer, polyisobutylene, petroleum resin, polyurethane film liquid, paraffin, tetrakis methane.
My thoughts:
Really nice packaging on the inside and out! Everything is packed nicely – in a little sachet kind of thing and then in a thin plastic sheet with instructions.
There are 18 patches inside the one I received but when purchasing there’ll be 54 patches so don’t you worry! I’ve used pimple patches before so I’m no stranger to the routine.
The patches are quite thin which is great, it makes it less noticeable. They stick on easily – always make sure you apply it to dry skin otherwise it won’t work. The quality of the patches are good too, I remember I used a different brand once (I was desperate) and the patches just would not stick on the pimple.
Anyways, in the morning I peeled it off and I was left with a reduced pimple! So happy with the results.
Overall:
I was pretty pleased with the results from Subi Beauty’s pimple patches. They worked a treat and helped to reduce the size of my pimple, and were very easy to apply and take off.
I love that they offer free shipping and they sell their products in bulk which saves you having to keep repurchasing pimple patches when you run out. I know in the past I always buy one packet and that’s enough for the time being, but when I’m down to the last one and I can’t make a trip out to buy it then I just have to make do. Subi Beauty really simplifies this by selling it in 54 packs.

Thank you for reading this weeks post, I was wondering if any of you have tried pimple patches before – if so, which brands?
A new post will be up next week as usual!
