July Favourites

Hello everyone!

I’m back with another favourites blog post. I’ve been loving these products for the past couple of months and wanted to share them with you all!

From left to right:

Nude by Nature Mineral Brush:

Even though this is for mineral powder foundation, it’s perfect for all powders. I love using this to set my makeup, as well as blend out any harshly applied blush. It retails for $16.95 which is pretty affordable and the size makes it perfect for travelling. The hairs don’t fall out either which is great, not to mention that it’s super soft!

Stila Colour and Perfect Palette:

Prior to purchasing this I was going to purchase the Urban Decay colour correctors or the Stila One Step Correct but I decided it would be more worthwhile getting this palette. At first I didn’t think I’d be using many colours in it, but to my surprise it’s actually the perfect palette! It has a purple, yellow, peach, orange, green and two setting powders. I highly recommend it for those with a makeup kit, I think it’s such an essential. It also has a mirror and it’s such a nice palette honestly I wish I bought it sooner.

The size is about 13g which is so much, I can see it lasting quite some time. If you’re in the market for a nice colour correcting palette, I recommend this one. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry there’s a very helpful pamphlet inside telling you how to use it as well.

Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in ‘Kitten Karma’:

I got a mini of this in a giveaway and I have always wanted one so I am so lucky to have received it. I didn’t realise how much glitter would actually be in this though haha. The first time I used it, I tried washing it and it left so much glitter on my face. Over time I got better at cleaning the glitter off my face haha and I love it. The mini will definitely last me some time as well, but I would love to buy the full size one sometime in the future.

I use this in a cut crease, or over eyeshadow and finish off with a wing. It matches most colours quite well, I enjoy wearing it with a pink eyeshadow because I feel that it really complements it.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in ‘Tulle’:

I received this in a giveaway prize as well and it’s the first CP product I’ve tried. After hearing so many good things, I can finally try it out! I love this colour and I don’t own any colour like it. It’s kind of like a burgundy, and I find it really complements my skin tone as well. The staying power on it isn’t too bad either. I just love this colour so much 🙂

Models Prefer K-Beauty 2 Dolly Lash Micro Mascara:

This has been discontinued because it was part of a promotional range and not the permanent range. When I first saw this land in stores I was really curious about it. From the name I assumed it had a tiny wand and when I bought it and tried it out I loved it immediately! It retails for $25 and I didn’t think it was worth the splurge at the time and I’m glad I waited because I scored this for $2! Seriously such a bargain.

I love the small wand for my lower lashes because it really accentuates them a lot better than using a wand that’s way too big. It does take a bit longer to put on though because I try to be more precise in using the smaller wand, but it pays off and for $2 it’s a steal.

Mecca Max Wink Ink Liquid Eyeliner:

I also received this as a giveaway prize and at first I didn’t think much of it but I couldn’t resist opening it ASAP to see the tips. It’s double ended which is amazing, I love how precise I can get my eyeliner with the thinner end. I’m an eyeliner addict and this has been an amazing addition to my collection, plus it’s pretty affordable!

Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder
:

A product I’ve been using and loving for months now. You’ve probably seen me talk about this for months and I so highly recommend it. I was skeptical at first after hearing people say it leaves some colour on your skin (I prefer a translucent powder), but after biting the bullet and purchasing it it didn’t disappoint. It is a bit pricier, but you get 35g of product which is so much more than drugstore powders and works out to be cheaper in the long run.

That’s all for my favourites for this month, hope you enjoyed this post. I would love to know what your favourites have been for this month – let me know below!

With love,
