July Favourites

Hello my friends!

We’ve reached the end of July and I thought I would once again share some of my favourites from this month.

  • Mecca Cosmetica Hydrating Moisturiser
  • Natio Sponge*
  • Sunsense Ultra
  • Mini YSL Lipstick
  • NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette*
  • Natio Precision Liquid Eyeliner*

Mecca Cosmetica Hydrating Moisturiser

You already know why this is included, if you don’t then click here for my full review! In short, love the packaging, hydrating, and suitable for day and night. This retails for $48, which is the average expected price for higher end moisturisers IMO. It’s been about 2-3 months of usage and I’m still going strong! If you’ve tried anything else from the Cosmetica range, let me know what you loved!

Natio Sponge*

I remember a friend of mine said this was really good, I was able to get my hands on one luckily enough and…the claims check out! This is soo good, and for the price, like $6, it is amazing. I apply my foundation or BB cream with the flat side and I love the contours on it – it makes it really good for blending in contour and still having that precise edge, goodbye muddy contour! The shape is also good for baking if that’s your thing. Can’t recommend this sponge enough!

Sunsense Ultra

Picked this up a while ago because it was on clearance for $5! Talk about bargain! I enjoy Sunsense sunscreens and I haven’t tried this one before I think…I’ve previously had it, but passed it onto my brother because he needed a sunscreen and I had a spare. I like that it’s a lotion, it applies nicely before makeup. Love that I can use this for the face and body, so convenient! Not to mention that it has Vitamin B3, so the formula is quite moisturising. It will last me some time given that it’s a 200g tube!

Mini YSL Lipstick

I got this sometime last year and I don’t know the shade because it’s a sample with no shade or number written on it. I have fallen in love with it again. I pair this with a nude lip liner for a cute pout. I blot after applying and it leaves a really nice, natural-looking stain on my lips. Plus it smells really nice, kind of like candy, but it’s a bit different haha. I’m not that great at describing scents, but I really like this one.

NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette*

I haven’t tried a lot of NYX in the past, mainly because the Target stands were always trashed. However, I was delighted to try this, though I only use one shade haha. The one shade I use makes a really nice highlight, that suits my skin tone. The others are either too pink, purple or dramatic for me to wear daily haha. I’m pretty picky with highlighters, is anyone else?

Natio Precision Liquid Eyeliner*

I loved this, period. It reminds me of the Maybelline Hypersharp, but dare I say, better? Super pigmented and doesn’t just flake off or smudge at all. I’ve had trouble with previous eyeliners (ahem Maybelline Master Precise) where it would just like bleed throughout the day, never ideal. I love that this has a sharp point, love it for my wings and it’s so easy to use. Will definitely get another once I finish my current one!

And there are my favourites for July, a bit of a short one this month, but I really enjoyed using these products. I would love to know what products you have been enjoying this month!

With love,
