Review: Centellian 24 Madeca Micro Serum #gifted

Hello and welcome back,

Today I’ll be reviewing the Centellian 24 Madeca Micro Serum* available from Boniik.

When I was talking to the sales assistant, she and her colleague recommended this serum and I’ve been using it for the past 2 weeks. It comes in a 50ml bottle, that includes a dropper.

***Edit: Boniik no longer stocks the Centellian 24 range.

Fully orchestrated with liposome technology, TECA essence form Centella Asiatica soothes the skin and fortifies the skin wall. Marine Collagen absorbs easily into the skin to provide deep nourishment, while Hyaluronic Acid, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 and Palmitoyl Tethrapeptide-7 refines and moisturizes the skin.

Directions:

Apply on clean skin before your moisturiser.

For all skin types.

Ingredients:

It was hard to find the ingredients in English, so this is a rough translation from Google Translate, so it may or may not be totally accurate.

First Impressions:

The packaging was 95% in Korean, which was a bit disappointing because I really wanted to read more about the product. It comes in a nice bottle, with a dropper. Simplistic packaging too. The serum looks sticky, but it actually absorbs into the skin very nicely. It does leave a bit of a ‘shiny’ look on the skin, but it’s just moisturising your skin.

I really like the smell of the serum too, it’s quite botanical smelling.

What I like:

Bottle packaging

The bottle design is a very classic look. I like how easy it is to use because of the dropper.

Smell

As I mentioned above, this smells amazing!

Application

It literally sinks into the skin, I love it!

Effect

After using it for two weeks, it has really smoothed my skin texture!! I’m really impressed.

Unedited – A drop of serum and once it’s absorbed

What I don’t like:

Product amount

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve used about half the bottle already, so I’m not sure if I’m using too much or just the right amount. I use 3 drops on my face twice a day. Sometimes there’s enough in those 3 drops to even cover my neck.

Packaging

I wish it had more English on the packaging. It’s a bit hard to find information about it online as well, so I’m a bit disappointed there.

Overall:

I really enjoy this serum and have seen a difference in my skin texture already.  I have oily/acne prone skin and this has really made my skin smoother. I had a cyst last week, which really hurt and was bumpy but after using this for a while, the cyst has flattened and my overall complexion has really improved!

I recommend this to people who have problems with skin texture. It’s really hydrating and moisturising and as I mentioned above, it’s suitable for all skin types.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post, there will be a new post next Tuesday so stay tuned for that! Thank you for reading and have a great week!

With love,

Irene
