Welcome back to the first blog post of the year!
I hope you all have a lovely New Years and a great week so far. As most of you know, last year I started doing interviews with people from the beauty community. I have since rebranded and have now named this section ‘Meet Me Mondays’. It has the exact same idea has the interviews, but with a new name.
A new interview will be posted on the first Monday of every month, unless something unforeseen comes up of course.

Tell us a bit about yourself!
My names Alyce, I’m 21 from Sydney, Australia.
I’m currently still a full time student as well as a full time accountant so running a beauty blog definitely gets stressful at times! In my spare time I love watching YouTube, hanging out with my dogs or spending time with my family!
Why did you start your Instagram account?
I originally wanted to start a YouTube channel actually, although was a bit nervous to put videos of myself up on the internet, so I resorted to Instagram and it has been the best decision!

What are your plans for 2019?
That’s a good question, I am hoping to be consistent firstly – I’m quite time poor so taking time out of my week to take photos or write a blog post is definitely at the top of my list! Other than that, just make sure I engage with other bloggers and make some more friends in the community – it’s all about having fun and enjoying what you do.
What’s your best skincare tip?
I’m not hugely into skincare, but I love using rose hip oil before going to bed! Great way to keep the skin hydrated.
Any must have makeup products?
Definitely the benefit roller lash mascara! Have gone through 3 already and a must have for anyone that loves mascara!
Do you prefer structured flat lays or messy ones?
Definitely structured! I don’t have the most aesthetic eye, although structured will always be my go to!
Are you a big YouTube watcher? Any favourite beauty vloggers out there?
Yes I love YouTube!
My OG beauty vlogger is definitely Shani Grimmond, but my other favourites consist of; Bella Fiori, Sammy Robinson, Rachael Jade (a favourite!) and Crystal Conte. I love to support fellow Australians☺️
Are you more into makeup or skincare?
Definitely makeup, need to work on my Skincare ASAP! (2019 resolution? I think so!)
