Welcome back to another blog post for the week!
I’ve managed my time well enough to bring you another blog post this week! This week I bring you my birthday haul – a collection of beauty related presents I received a few weeks ago. Aside from these products, I also received a pair of shoes (Vans Old Skool in True White), a wallet (Nautica), baking tools (a square tray), hair accessories (a decorative hair piece), a watch (Marc Jacobs) and a few others. Anyways, onto today’s post.
- Tarte’s Girls Just Wanna Have Sun
- Sephora Collection Acai Hair Sleeping Mask
- The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter
- Loreal Pure Clay Purifying + Mattifying Mask
- The Ordinary Hyalauronic Acid 2% + B5
- The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA
- Nude By Nature Oily Skin Control Pack
- TheBalm Down Boy Blush
- Privia Snail Brightening Mask
- Life Basics by Nourished Life Pure White Clay Facial Mask
- Clip on hoop earrings (I know these aren’t exactly beauty related but they were too cute not to share!)
- Eclipse Nail Polish in 414
Tarte’s Girls Just Wanna Have Sun:
I received this set, which unfortunately comes from Tarte – a brand I’m no longer supporting unfortunately. So I’ve decided to put this into a giveaway, because I’m sure someone will enjoy this + I’m not one to bronze/tan, I’m tanned enough haha.
I suppose I sound ungrateful, but I guess it’s better to give away something I won’t use, to someone who’ll use and appreciate the product 🙂
Sephora Collection Acai Hair Sleeping Mask
I’ve never been into hair masks because they get so messy and I get impatient haha, but this one I was keen to try! Especially because it’s acai and because it’s a sleeping one! I’ll have a review up soon.
The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter:
I’ve only tried a few things from The Body Shop so I wasn’t sure how this would go + I’m not the biggest fan of body butters, but I loveeee this! It smells so much like raspberries that it encourages me to moisturise my body haha.
Loreal Pure Clay Purifying + Mattifying Mask:
I swear my friend read my mind! I’ve been meaning to try these for ages, and she has tried the entire range. I have oily skin, so this would suit perfectly. I’m yet to open it and try it myself, but once I’ve finished my current face mask (the Swisse one) I’ll be sure to try this one out!
The Ordinary Hyalauronic Acid 2% + B5:
I haven’t tried anything from TO, but I’ve been meaning too as well! I’ve heard people rave on and on about these, and they’re fantastic for their price point. I’ll be sure to purchase more from TO.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I haven’t noticed much of a difference, because I think this would be well suited for people with drier skin. I’ll continue using it until it runs out 🙂
The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA:
I’m not the biggest fan of this, because I’ve gotten use to thin moisturisers in recent months – facial oils as moisturisers and gels for moisturisers. I use to use creams, but I’ve decided to change my skin care routine to be light as possible, so my skin soaks it all up!
Nude By Nature Oily Skin Control Pack:
This pack looks soo good! It comes with a cleanser, oil and a cream. I haven’t used this yet, but I love the packaging! I also love how it’s suitable for normal and oily skin because I have oily skin.
TheBalm Down Boy Blush:
My friend who gifted me this, has been fuelling all my TheBalm products! She was the one who gave me the Frat Boy blush, then gave me her Nude Dude Palette and now this!
I love blushes and can’t wait to use this! I love the packaging of TheBalm products too, it’s really unique.
Privia Snail Brightening Mask:
Another sheet mask to add to my ever-expanding collection. I used this a few weeks ago and it had a lot of serum! The mask itself was quite thin (the cotton/fabric), and I’ve never had a sheet mask fit my face so perfectly!
I’ve also never used anything snail related before, but I’ve heard it has great beauty benefits 🙂
Life Basics by Nourished Life Pure White Clay Facial Mask:
I’ve always loved clay masks and was keen to try this out since I’ve never tried the type that came in powder.
Clip on hoop earrings:
So my friends have their ears pierced and I don’t, but one of my friends got me these cute clip on earrings, so we’d all match haha.
Eclipse Nail Polish in 414:
This colour doesn’t suit me, but I tried it out one day and was amazed by how long lasting it was! I definitely will consider wearing this more in the future.
That’s all I’ve got for you today, I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tried any of these before – how did you like it?
Until next time,
xxx
Thats a great haul
