Today I’ll be reviewing the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Toner* as it was requested. I’ve been using this almost everyday for a few months now – almost everyday, because sometimes I like to switch up my toners.
Helps clear breakouts and removes excess impurities, dirt and oil to prevent new spots.

The formula with micelle particles effectively cleans and removes residues and impurities without over-drying the skin.

Directions:
Use twice a day. Apply onto cotton ball and massage face gently to remove impurities.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, C12-15 Alky Lactate, Lactic Acid, Panthenol, Salicyclic Acid, Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Citric Acid, Hyroxyacetophenone, Benzalkonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum
First Impressions:
The packaging is very handy because you just pour the toner out with ease. The lid is very secure, as long as you remember to close it.
The size is 200ml, which is plenty and will last a few months or so.
I don’t really like the smell of this either, I think I’m kind of turned off the citrus smell haha.
What I like:
- Size
As I mentioned above, it’s 200ml which is great and lasts a while.
- Takes off any excess dirt/makeup
Love using this toner to remove any excess impurities from my skin
- Affordable
This is a pretty standard and affordable toner – $15AUD.
- Softens skin
Through continual use, I’ve found that this has softened my skin.
What I don’t like:
- Smell
Once again, the smell isn’t something I’m quite fond of, but it’s not strong enough to deter me from using this product.
Overall:
Very decent and affordable toner, that works well for my skin. A quick sweep of this on a cotton pad really purifies the skin leaving it fresh and clean + prepares it for the next set of skincare products that come in contact with the face.
