Christmas Gift Guide 2019

Hello everyone!

As voted by you guys on my IG story, you wanted a Christmas Gift Guide from me! I’ve never done one before so this is a bit new to me, but I am excited to share with you all some of my favourite gift packs available now!

This little set includes

  • Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash – 20ml.
  • Lotus Youth Preserve Brightening Mask – 15ml.
  • Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer – 15ml.

I think it would make a great gift for a skincare junkie or someone looking to try out the brand. It’s pretty affordable as well and the packaging is so nice!

There are a bunch of Sephora Favourites sets that have mini and full size products and they’re all at a pretty good price point!

This comes with 2 full size products:

  • Vitamin C Serum 30ml
  • Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Sunscreen SPF 50+

This is a great brightening kit and features their latest Vitamin C serum, and of course their renowned sunscreen. It’s super light weight and a lot of people rave about me – but personally, I’m not a fan of it haha.

Perfume sets are a great little gift for anyone! They often hold really good value for the products inside as well. Plus they’re already in a nice package – saves you having to wrap the gift!

This is an amazing little set and so affordable! You get 10 brushes for $40 which means the brushes come to like $4 each!! They are so soft and it comes with a bag as well so you can take all your brushes travelling.

You can’t deny how cute this little gift is! It comes with a bubble bath, body cream, sleeping mask, balonge and of course the teddy bear. It retails for $25, so it comes to about $5 for each product. I think this makes a great pampering gift for someone.

I love this set for so many reasons! Great products, great price and of course, because it’s pink! It already comes in a neat little box, and I love the colour coordination. I’m also currently using the Night Cream-Gel and can’t rave about it enough! The rosewater range is for all skin types, and would make a great introduction to the brand!

Dr Jart, a well known Korean brand is available at Sephora and they’ve released a few little Christmas gift sets, including this one. I love the packaging and this set comes with three products in a cute little bag. This is great for those with sensitive skin as the cicapair range is aimed those with irritable skin.

When I saw this on the website I thought this is actually pretty good value! They also have another brow gift set, but with the Brow Wiz instead. This would also make a great introduction to the brand and I love that it already comes with a brush and everything – talk about convenience!

This is the latest Australis palette and it’s pretty decent! It’s a bit more than their other palettes in terms of cost, but I love that it has instructions on the back and each colour set has an accompanying glitter – not to mention that they’ve included a concealer base! Talk about all in one!

I am so enticed by the colours and packaging of this palette! There’s a mix of shimmers and mattes and it comes in such a beautiful case! They are pretty pigmented and it’s only $20 – bargain!

I love Laneige and every year they have amazing gift sets! This includes two of their famous products – the Water Sleeping Mask and the Lip Sleeping Mask. It also features their Moisture Cream (I love this) and their latest Cream Skin Toner and Moisturiser – which everyone seems to love so far! Their Water Sleeping Mask was one of the first sleeping masks I’ve tried and it’s so cooling. As for their Lip Sleeping Mask, I always wake up with softer, smoother lips. I’m currently less than half way through my lip mask tub!

Who doesn’t love a makeup bag? I actually have so many of these kinds of bags at home lol and they’re so convenient for travelling! Keeps everything safe and in one place.

A bag is always a nice gift for Christmas! Something stylish and sleek like this black bag would be perfect for everyday outings and it can fit your makeup to go, keys, your wallet and other small essentials.

I’ve tried these three products before from a free gift and I loved the gloss and mascara! Wasn’t a big fan of the gel liner because I don’t typically wear gel liners anyway. The gloss smells like pepper mint (from memory) and glides on smoothly. As for the mascara, I really like how it makes my lashes look long and natural. The brush is quite big and picks up a lot of product so I tend to put some of it back. Great little intro to the brand as well!

There are a few different palettes in the Cover Shot Eye range and they are all so beautiful! I actually bought one for a friend last year for her birthday and she loves it! Great little gift šŸ™‚

Because who doesn’t love a good bauble set? This comes with a mini cleansing balm and a mini mascara – perfect for the everyday makeup wearer! Clinique is a great brand for those with problematic skin or people who tend to have reactions to most products on the market. I know a few clients and girls at work who swear by some of Clinique’s products and I’m so glad they found something that works for them after trialling so many different products/brands!

Another little cracker, the perfect gift for anyone really! This includes a 30ml size of the famous Mecca Cosmetica SPF50+ Sunscreen. This works really well under makeup and since it’s SPF50+, it has really good sun protection! I might get one for myself after I finish my current sunscreens!

I love this holiday set from The Face Shop – which features 3 of their cleansers! I’ve previously purchased a similar set and they are great value and I love the cleansers. You could even purchase this for yourself and try out some of their cleansers!

This set features a full sized Jet Lag mask and two mini masks for the R+R and the Overtime mask. I think this is great value because the full sized Jet Lag mask is valued at $73! I would love to receive this set and it’s great because you get to try out all the masks! I am a fan of the R+R mask!

I think I will wrap the post up here. I will say, after browsing online there are some pretty good gift sets available at Sephora and Priceline this year, however I am a bit disappointed in the ones from Mecca. That being said, in shopping for someone, really think about what they don’t have or what you think they would want to try! There are some really good introductory sets for certain brands and they are often at a great price point. If you’re stuck on gifts for someone you don’t know very well, think about what kind of person they are based on general thoughts! I recently had to purchase a Secret Santa gift for someone at work that I wasn’t very familiar with. I originally was going to get her a candle but I found something else that I thought would be better – I got her a planner! It had all the months on it and it also had a smaller weekly planner on it. As she’s a uni student, I think this was a great gift so she can stay organised and on top of her assignments and other plans she might have!

Anyways, I hope you found this gift guide to be helpful. Depending on the success of this post, I might do another gift guide next year! Thanks for reading as always!

With love,
