Hello everyone!
It’s been some time since I lasted shared with you my favourites. To check out my last favourites post, just click here. I hope to do more favourites post this year – let me know if you enjoy them as well!
I’ve been trying to use up some products I have before purchasing more of course. My favourites of this month has been a mix of makeup and skincare + one perfume!
For makeup:
- It’s Skin Babyface Petit Blusher in the shade ’03/Romantic Rose’
- Rimmel London Match Perfection Silky Loose Face Powder in ‘Transparent’
- The Face Shop Flat Velvet Lipstick in ‘PK01 Rose Pink’*
For skincare:
- Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel
- Laneige Moisturising Foam Cleanser
- Innisfree Apple Seed Deep Cleansing Foam
For perfume:
It’s Skin Babyface Petit Blusher:
I got this as a birthday gift and rediscovered it recently. At first I was overwhelmed by how pink it was but if you apply it lightly, it gives a nice and natural flush to the skin without being too glittery or over the top.
I linked where you can get it – YesStyle and I think that’s where my friend got it as well.
There are four other shades in the range as well. It comes with like a puffy thing to apply the blush with but mine broke early on so I discarded it.
I’ve previously tried the Stay Matte – which I liked, but I think I like the Loose Powder just a tiny bit more! I purchased this when it was half price and it came to about $8AUD which is so affordable! I love just how silky it is and how flawless my skin looks when applying it. I also use it to bake sometimes.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Face Powder:
I used to be skeptical of how messy loose powders can be but I really like this and would definitely repurchase once my current one runs out. It lasts forever honestly!
It comes with a puffer sponge thing in side as well but I stopped using it because I thought that it can be a bit unhygienic to use it constantly without washing it.
The Face Shop Flat Velvet Lipstick*:
I got gifted a bunch of these lipsticks last year, check it out here. I use this one all the time, it’s my favourite shade.
The staying power isn’t too great on these and I dont’ wear lipstick or anything to work but when I do go out, I tend to go for this colour.
It’s a very ‘natural’ colour and gives the lips a bit of colour without being too obvious 🙂
Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel:
I bought this a few months ago and it’s so affordable! The size is massive as well and I imagine this will last me some time.
It can be used on the face and body and provides a soothing and cooling effect on the skin. It has a light scent to it as well (rose water) and I’m really enjoying it!
I use it as a facial moisturiser and it provides me with a good amount of moisture to last me throughout the day.
Laneige Moisturising Foam Cleanser:
I took this on my trip overseas because of it’s perfect travel size packaging. I really enjoyed using this. It definitely is moisturising and foams up nicely.
I only use a bit and it foams up a lot, unlike some other foam cleansers I’ve used. It’s very gentle and leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
I would consider purchasing the full size but I don’t need any new cleansers at the moment.
The whole kit is actually great value for money and great to take when travelling – but be warned it only really lasts about a week or so BUT you do get to try out many of the products at once and for such an affordable price. I would love to try the pore one too!
Innisfree Apple Seed Deep Cleansing Foam:
This cleanser is so affordable and I love how clean it leaves my skin. It smells like apples as well and gives me such a fresh face feeling haha.
This is another great foam cleanser! It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or stripped at all.
I haven’t tried a lot from Innisfree, but I would definitely recommend this for those looking for a cheap and effective cleanser!
Beyonce Heat Wild Orchid:
This has been my go-to perfume for the past 2-3 years. I love how affordable it is and how sweet, yet subtle it smells.
It isn’t overpowering and lasts quite a while throughout the day.
After I finish this bottle though, I won’t be repurchasing because I have decided to change perfumes.
I recommend this to those who are seeking an affordable and fun perfume!
That’s all I have for this week, I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourites for this month. What were some of your favourite products from this month?
With love,
