Review: Nerium #gifted

Hi everyone!

Today I’ll be doing a review of two Nerium samples I received from Tammi.

I received the:

  • Eye-V Moisture Boost Hydrogel Patches
  • Age-Defying Eye Serum

For those who don’t know about Nerium, I will disclose a bit of information about the company below.

What’s Nerium?

  • Nerium launched in 2011, built upon the Nerium Age-Defying Night Cream.

  • In 2015, Nerium was rated #1 on the Inc. 500 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Consumer Products and Services Category

Eye-V Moisture Boost Hydrogel Patches:

The Patches work in 5 key ways to:

  • Diminish the appearance of fine lines
  • Reduce the appearance of puffiness
  • Firm the look of the skin
  • Brighten the look of the eye area
  • Hydrate the eye area

Directions: Open pouch and pull out the tray containing two delicate eye patches. Apply one onto the clean, dry under-eye area. Repeat on other side. Relax and enjoy for 20 minutes as the ingredients soak into the skin. The patches will stay in place after application, so you can easily move around while wearing them. Gently remove and discard after use then softly pat remaining serum into the skin. Product must be used immediately after pouch is opened. For optimal benefits, use one treatment each week. The patches can also be used as a quick pick me up before date nights, after late nights or after long flights.

Thoughts:

  • Packaging

The packaging was very simple, and the colours were used well. The instructions at the back were easy to follow and understand. Illustrations on the back were clear and easy to follow as well.

  • Patches

The patches themselves were like any other under eye patches in terms of texture and look. The shape is convenient to fit under your eyes.

  • Process

The process of taking the patches off and putting them under my eye were a bit confusing. I followed the illustrations on how and where to place the eye patches but I found it didn’t stick very well – which was quite disappointing.

Results:

Whilst the patches claim to do 5 things, I feel as if they merely refreshed my under eyes and nothing else. If I had used the eye patches more consistently, i.e. once a week, etc. I might be able to see better results. With my one time experience with these eye patches, they’re quite good. The only down side for me, is the fact that they didn’t stay on as well as I thought they would, but that error is on my part.

Age-Defying Eye Serum:

The eye serum can mend 6 problem areas:

  • Fine lines under the eye
  • Puffiness
  • Under eye bags
  • Crow’s feet
  • Dark circles
  • Dullness

Directions: Using ring finger, gently pat on under eyes.

Thoughts:

  • Generous amount

One sachet has enough for two uses on your under eyes.

  • Sceptical

At first I was quite sceptical about this working, but boy was I impressed.
Results:

The eye serum claimed to mend 6 problem areas and it did just that! My fine lines were diminished, my puffiness went down a notch and my under eye bags were beginning to disappear. I don’t have very prominent crows feet so I can’t give you feedback on that. As for dark circles, my under eyes were much lighter than before. There was a bit of dullness left, but that being said, from ONE use I’m pretty impressed with the results. Just imagine how amazing the results would be with continue use of the eye serums.

4/5.

Overall:

This was my first time trying anything like this before. The patches I probably wouldn’t try again based on personal preference. However, the eye serum I would definitely try again – thankfully Tammi gave me a few more samples of it.

  1. I love the eye serum too – it’s perfect just before makeup application if you’ve got an event or something on! I felt the same way about the under eye patches, mine actually crumbled apart and were really difficult to apply as they were in a few different pieces. Great post! 💕
