Haul

Hi everyone!

I’m back this week with another beauty related post because it’s Wednesday! Today I’ll be sharing a haul with you, which is basically a collection of a few new products I’ve purchased this month so far.

If you’ve tried any of these before, let me know what you thought about them. Don’t forget to follow me on instagram for daily posts.

Now let’s get to this haul:

  1. Magic Eye Shadow Pen from Miniso
  2. False Eyelashes B Natural from Daiso
  3. False Eyelashes in #3 from Daiso
  4. Alpha H Liquid Gold from Sephora
  5. Cream Lip Stain from Sephora

Magic Eye Shadow Pen

I bought this thinking it was a chubby eyeshadow pen, but instead it’s one of those dip eyeshadows. There wasn’t a tester for it, so I couldn’t make sure, but I was in a rush anyways and grabbed this from Miniso and left. Miniso has opened a few new stores around Sydney after achieving success with their Asian stores. If you’re in Sydney, there’s a few stores in World Square, Chatswood, The Galeries, Bondi Junction and Hurstville.

Where to get it: Miniso

What it’s called: Magic Eye Shadow Pen – natural eyes makeup

Shade: Dark Brown 03

How much it costs: $4 AUD

False Eyelashes B Natural

This comes in a set of 3 – which is pretty well worth it’s price. As most of you know, Daiso is a Japanese retailer that sells items for $2.80 in Australia. In Japan, Daiso is also known as ‘100 yen store’ which converts to $1.20 AUD roughly, so in fact, we pay MORE for it in Australia Nevertheless, these are still value for price. I didn’t really like the lashes because they looked weird on my eyes – ironically, they looked more unnatural. Results may vary from person to person, as we all have different eye shapes!

False Eyelashes in #3

Sorry for the shoddy photo! I had to take this at night because I was sick of waiting for a day with good lighting. These are also from Daiso, and they have a pretty nice design. These also come with glue inside, but it’s white glue, not like the clear ones they sell. They also come in a range from 1-7, I’ve even seen 1-9, I guess it varies from store to store. These single pair lashes were cheaper than the set ones – they often have sales for these single pair lashes. I also didn’t really like these, I found them to be fidgety to put on, but I did like how they came with glue.

How much it costs: $1.40

Alpha H Liquid Gold

I had been contemplating getting this product for the longest time. At first they only had the Liquid Gold in 100ml and 200ml, and I was not willing to spend $60 on the 100ml, let alone $70 for the 200ml. In my recent trip to Sephora, I saw the 50ml one for $30 – no discount for it, literally just half the price and size of the 100ml one. I thought to myself, what a good chance to finally try this, considering $30 is fairly affordable. I’d heard people rave about this and how much it has helped their skin, as I had scars on my face from previous acne. As I was looking at it, I spoke to an employee, who told me about her experience with it. Then I took the plunge of purchasing it. I have only been using it for a few days, so I’ll do a proper in-depth review on it in a few weeks. Stay tuned for that if you’re interested.

For such a tiny product, the packaging is simple, but seems kind of unnecessary, because once you take the lid off, you realise how much negative space there was inside the lid.

How much it costs: $30 for 50ml, $60 for 100ml, $70 for 200ml

Cream Lip Stain

I had never fully looked at the Sephora Collection products to be honest. Mainly because there were other brands I wanted to try. I saw this as I was about to go pay for my Liquid Gold and stayed there for about 15 minutes swatching everything haha. I didn’t realise this was a cream lip stain until I read it – I just picked it up due to the colour. I like a lot of bold red’s and was looking for something like that. It looked like a liquid lipstick/lip gloss, due to the cream formula, but it tried like a lip stain. If you’d like an in-depth review on it, please comment down below and let me know! Alternatively, feel free to send me suggestions in my suggestions box, which you can find above.

This photo is only edited for the background and lighting. As you can see, the shade is a gorgeous bold red.

That’s the end of my haul for this month. I forgot to mention I also repurchased a bio oil and bought a reed diffuser – but I had already opened them both and discarded the packaging before I got the chance to take a photo of it hehe. Thanks for reading, I hope you all have a great week. See you back here on Saturday for another post and next week on Wednesday for another beauty-related post, OR on my blog daily for posts of flatlays and all things beauty.
