My Current Beauty Wish List

Hello my friends!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my wish list on my blog – there have been plenty of products that I have had my eye on for some time…now let’s get into it!

Starting with the Kosas Good Body Skin Exfoliating Wash, this is a daily body wash with AHA in it – which gently exfoliates the skin. I love using AHA on my body, it makes my skin so soft, plus works wonders for the underarms. I ran out of my glycolic toner a while back and have been waiting for lockdown to end, so I can go to the shops to buy a new one (instead of buying a billion other things online to reach the cost of free shipping haha). This does look promising and I’ve always heard good things about Kosas makeup, so I’m assuming their body care products are just as good!

Another AHA body product is their Chemistry AHA Serum Deodorant, sticking with this AHA train, I saw this launched a few months back and I’m really intrigued by it. It’s a serum deodorant WITH the AHAs in the formula so it does the same job as using a glycolic toner. I’ve seen some pretty good reviews on this one as well, so I’m looking into purchasing it!

Next up is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray which I’ve had my eye on for so long. Everyone that has this has always raved about how smudge-proof your makeup becomes with this baby. I’ve seen demos where a woman tried to rub away her eyeshadow swatches and nothing! IT DID NOT BUDGE AT ALL. Safe to say I was pretty sold on this. I thought about grabbing it off the CT website, but I couldn’t justify spending more money on things I didn’t need (plus haven’t been able to swatch) to reach the free shipping. Now that Mecca stocks it, I hope I can try this in store + all the other amazing products from the brand!

Now you know, I’m not a huge hair care person, but sometimes I do have issues with my scalp. It’s weird, it comes and goes, so I’m not sure if it’s worth investing into scalp treatments if it’s something that comes and goes. I did some research into scalp shampoos and came across the Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo, which is pretty decently priced. I have also looked at the Briogeo and Christopher Robin scalp treatments but I can’t justify the price!! Maybe one day though, but for now I think the Sachajuan is a pretty good start. If you have any holy grail scalp treatments, let me know!

I’m a sucker for lip products, be it lip balms, lip scrubs, etc. so when the Paula’s Choice Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Lip Booster came out, I was intrigued! It has some pretty good ingredients and as a fan of Paula’s Choice, I’m sure that this won’t do be wrong. It also has a metal applicator which I thought was interesting. If they did an SPF lip balm, I think that would be pretty good too, but with Australian SPF regulations being pretty tough, I’m not sure if they would launch one any time soon – fingers crossed though!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new concealer for a while, and I’ve narrowed it down to this one from bareMinerals, it’s a toss up between the Original Liquid Mineral Concealer and the Barepro 16-hr Full Coverage Concealer. It’s pretty hard to swatch liquid/stick products in Mecca because they cut off the applicator for hygiene reasons, but the 2.5W seems quite close to my skin. I’m still yet to swatch the Barepro Concealer to see which is a better match. Being in lockdown for the past few months means my skin is so much paler and now I’m going to have to find a better matching foundation all over again – much fun (not).

And that’s pretty much it, I feel like I will be purchasing these products over the next few months so keep an eye out for any hauls on my IG or any reviews on my blog!

What’s on your current beauty wish list?

With love,
