Review: Innisfree Apple Seed Deep Cleansing Foam

Hi everyone!

Hope you’ve all been well, today I’ll be reviewing the Innisfree Apple Cleanser as requested by Caryl from @thecaryledit!

I purchased this cleanser from Aphrodite & Hebe and you may recognise it from my February Favourites, which you can read here.

This cleansing foam with soft texture and abundant creamy lather removes makeup residue and embedded impurities while keeping the skin fresh and healthy.

The dense and abundant lather helps completely and delicately cleanse any makeup residue and impurities in the pores. The formulation with apple extract and apple seed oil smooths out flaky dead skin cells to keep your skin looking and feeling healthy. Fresh apple fragrance helps you enjoy a refreshing cleansing time.

Directions:

Apply an appropriate amount onto palm and work into rich lather. Massage over face, and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Peg-32, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Pyrus Malus (Apple ) Seed Oil, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Polyquaternium-7, Peg-90m, Disodium Edta, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance

What I like:

  • Scent

It smells so nice! It has a slight apple scent which isn’t too overpowering or too weak.

  • Price

It is so affordable being less than $10!

  • Size

It’s 150ml and when you compare that with the price tag, it’s honestly such a steal. This will definitely last me at least 3 months.

  • How it lathers

It lathers up so nicely and I don’t even need a huge amount to begin with.

  • Doesn’t strip/dry out the skin

I’ve used my fair share of foam/ing cleansers and a lot of them left my skin feeling kind of dry. This cleanser is so gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling cleansed and refreshed.

What I don’t like:

  • Nothing

Honestly there isn’t anything I dislike about it either. It’s so easy to use, is affordable and effective. Need I say more?

Overall:

I guess you can already tell that I’m loving this cleanser so far! Would highly recommend it to those looking for an affordable cleanser.

I wouldn’t recommend it to use to remove your makeup though. I tried to use this to remove a full face of makeup and it wasn’t as effective as using a makeup remover before hand – so keep that in mind!

That’s all I have for this week, I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Have you tried anything from Innisfree before? I believe they’re opening a Sydney store this month in the QVB!

With love,
